In January 2026 we became the lead sponsor of the European Motor Show. In its first year, we used the sponsorship to create an experience for consumers to own and enjoy. The theme of our activation was to 'Capture the moment,' influenced by people valuing experiences and what they share on social media.
We created the Close Brothers Motor Finance Experience so attendees could enjoy a multi sensory and fun environment. With liquid nitrogen ice cream, an AI photobooth transporting attendees through the motoring ages, a wheel change challenge and a relaxing sustainable area, the space had something for all ages.
Known as the Motor Finance People our colleagues from sales, underwriting, lending, marketing and customer service we on hand throughout the weekend helping to make the festival memorable. What's more, attendees had the opportunity to win a family weekend trip to a motorsport event in Barcelona this June.
